“I really was because you look across the United States at some of the other races and change is what people are looking for and as an incumbent it does make you nervous. You just gotta hope that you do your job and their satisfied with you,” says Todd.
Todd says he never takes any election for granted.
“I was nervous. My signs didn’t say reelect. Part of that reason is that its the same signs I had the first time I ran, because it costs a lot to buy signs. I though, I’m just going to use the same signs I had and just leave it like it is because I believe that you have to run, every time you an opponent, and you have to run an election, you should run just like you did the very first time because you are trying to get elected. That “reelect” sometimes looks good. I just felt like I gotta run just like I did the first time.”
