Police in Camdenton now confirm details of a reported fatality car accident early Monday evening. A release issued by the PD says 32-year-old Lucas Shaw was killed in the single-vehicle accident. The accident happened as Shaw was attempting to exit southbound highway-5 onto 54 west in Camdenton. The van traveled off the exit and down a ravine before hitting an embankment.

Still no information is being released following a fatal car accident in Camdenton. What is known is that the accident happened around 6:45 Monday evening when a southbound van was exiting highway-5 to highway-54 heading into Camdenton. For some reason, the van traveled off the ramp and down a steep embankment before getting to 54. A search began and the van was discovered a short time later. 32-year-old Lucas Shaw was killed in the accident. KRMS News will pass along any information when released by the Camdenton Police Department.
