The number of fatalities stemming from traffic accidents in Missouri fell by 5% in 2019. The Highway Patrol says there were 876 traffic fatalities last year, compared to 921 in 2018. That number is offset, though, by increases in fatalities in other categories. The number of people killed in motorcycle accidents was up by 10% to 118. There were also 108 pedestrians killed in 2019. That’s the most in the last ten years.
