Traffic fatalities are down substantially across the state of Missouri. Paul Reinsch, troop f public information officer says there are specific reasons why there has been a significant decrease in the number of deaths from motor vehicle accidents.
Last year there were a total of 755 traffic deaths statewide, compared to 826 in 2012. Troop f statistics which cover 13 counties including Camden, Miller, and Morgan also saw a decrease in the number of deaths resulting from motor vehicle accidents. There were 60 fatalities in troop f during 2013 compared to 76 in 2012.
