A 20 year old from Osage Beach was arrested on Friday after police find over 372 grams of Marijuana when they pulled him over for speeding. Shaun Peters was driving his 2013 Chevy Cruze in the area of Nichols Road when Osage Beach Police Officers caught him driving over 30 miles an hour faster than the speed limit and failing to stop at a stop sign. According to the police report, the officer smelled a strong odor of Marijuana and had the K9 dog come check the car out. After he reported a positive smell, the officer searched the vehicle they found the marijuana along with other drug paraphernalia and arrested Peters on the scene. He’s been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, exceeding posted speed limit, failing to stop at a stop sign, possession of an illegal weapon and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and is currently in jail at $10,000 cash bond.
