A pair of traffic stops in Morgan County lead to drug charges. Sheriff Norman Dills says his deputies stopped two vehicles in separate incidents April 1st. The first stop was on Highway 5 when they clocked a vehicle doing 112 mph in a 65 mph zone. Wesley Cheek of Roach was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was charged with speeding and possession of a controlled substance. Later that day, Jesse Gordon was stopped and deputies again allegedly found methamphetamine. Gordon was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
