Trafficking Charge Filed Against Jefferson City Man in Miller County

A Jefferson City man accused of trafficking drugs in the lake area is free after posting a $25-thousand bond.

Miller County Sheriff Louie Gregoire says Kyle Craney was taken into custody after deputies discovered a large amount of suspected methamphetamine weighing over 31 grams and two-thousand dollars in cash.

Craney is formally charged with second-degree trafficking, a felony, and two misdemeanors for possession of marijuana or a synthetic and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in mid-July.
