A Camdenton man accused of rape is set to stand trial next year. Mansour Beyah was charged with first-degree rape following an incident in March. The victim says she refused his requests to have sex several times before he gave her methamphetamine and forced himself on her. In statements to authorities both admitted that they had had sexual encounters prior to the night in question. Beyah claims the incident in March was also consensual. He has waived his right to a speedy trial and currently has a pretrial conference set for January 8th. The trial is scheduled for June 22nd.
