Truman Dam has been dumping water into Lake of the Ozarks at a rate of over 30,000 cubic feet per second for the last week. As Truman attempts to bring its waterline down, Bagnell Dam operators are maintaining a one-foot buffer by passing into the Osage River a near maximum amount of water possible without opening flood gates. The Lake of the Ozarks level has fluctuated around 658.5 during the last week as Truman has successfully lowered its water level from 717.9 to 716.4. Bagnell Dam operators anticipate a lake level of 658.9 by Wednesday.
