Trying to find a spot where you can get cell phone service in the Miller County seat of Tuscumbia should soon no longer be an issue. Presiding Commissioner Tom Wright says the problem, in the past, has been getting a tower put up in a good location…
The tower is being put up on property owned by the county right next to the courthouse which also means the county will reap some financial benefits from the deal. The effort to get a tower to enhance cell phone service in Tuscumbia has been spearheaded for the most part by State Representative Rocky Miller. The Highway Patrol and A-T-and-T are expected to be among the first to use the tower which should be in operation by the fall.
