Two Hurt In Miller County Crash

Two people are hurt, one seriously, after the car they were in ended up on it’s top on Hwy 42 in Miller County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Cody Ziegler of Iberia was driving with a passenger just west of Groves Road when he lost control of his car.

Investigators say the car when off the right side of the road, came back on the road and then crossed the center line. The car then went off the left side of the road, hit a ditch before hitting a tree and then came back on the road and flipped over before coming to a stop upside down.

Lucas Ellis of Iberia had serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital by air ambulance.

Troopers say Ziegler had moderate injuries and he was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
