A Chevy Malibu hits a tree in Morgan County last night, injuring two Gravois Mills residents, and leading to charges for the driver. Forty-four-year old George Cochran was driving the 2004 Malibu east on Highway P, east of old Highway 8, when the car went off the road and hit a tree. Cochran and his passenger, 31 year old Candelaria Foster, were not wearing seat belts and suffered serious injuries. Cochran faces charges from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, including D.W.I., careless and imprudent driving, and 2nd degree felony assault.
