Two lake area residents are dead following a head-on collision on Highway-42 in Miller County.
The highway patrol says it happened shortly before 10:30 Saturday night east of Hawkins Cemetery Road.
The vehicle driven westbound by 28-year-old John Surface, of Camdenton, crossed over the center striking an eastbound vehicle driven by 44-year-old Elizabeth Goewey, of Iberia.
Neither of the drivers had been wearing a seat belt and were, both, pronounced dead at the scene.
