Two Lake Area Women Hurt in Crash in Cole County

Two women from the lake area are injured in a crash on Highway 54. The wreck happened just west of Route E in Cole County Monday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, just before 12:30, 29-year old Hannah Cotten of Eldon lost control of her vehicle, colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by 40-year old Erin Price of Camdenton. Both women were wearing their seatbelts. Cotten was seriously injured and was taken to University Hospital. Price received only minor injuries and was transported to Capital Region Hospital for treatment.
