A couple injuries occurred on the Lake Saturday during separate water sport incidents. One involved a 14 year old St. Charles boy. Charles Meyer was tubing near the 13 mile marker around 4 o’clock Saturday afternoon when he fell off of the inner tube and collided with the water. He was taken to Lake Regional by ambulance for minor injuries. The second reported incident involved a 60 year old Weldon Springs man who was also participating in a water sport. Robert Stakenas was being pulled near the 20 mile marker about half an hour after Meyer’s incident when he began complaining of quad pain. When he got into the boat, he became unresponsive. He was also taken to Lake Regional by ambulance.
