A Columbia, Missouri, man and a California man are facing time in federal prisons after entering guilty pleas to a deadly multi-state marijuana trafficking operation.

25-year-old Nawel Girma, of Columbia, could be sentenced up to 30 years without parole while 31-year-old Cody Brent Davis, of Redding, California, could receive up to 60 years without parole…both pleaded guilty in separate appearances in U.S. District Court.

The two had been involved in the operation in which hundreds of pounds of marijuana and thousands of THV vaporizer cartridges were delivered to customers in Missouri and more than a dozen other states.

Another co-conspirator in the operation was found murdered during a December, 2017, home invasion in Columbia.
