Two telemarketing companies are facing penalties for violating the state’s no call list. Attorney General Chris Koster has gotten a temporary restraining order against C. Michael Exteriors Incorporated out of New York and its owner William Bergmann. The company allegedly violated the state no call list and state merchandising practices when they called consumers offering windows and siding. Koster has also gotten an injunction to stop Technology Partnerships out of Pennsylvania and its owner Jesse Levine from making calls to Missourians on the no call list. The company was looking for people who had used the drug Avandia and suffered side effects. Technology Partnerships faces a $5,000 fine for each violation and must pay all court costs.
