Two area women are facing several charges in Camden and Laclede counties after an incident earlier this week on highway 5. According to reports, the Highway Patrol pulled over a car near Lakeshore drive that was traveling almost a hundred miles an hour driven by Ashley Woodall. As she was being placed into a patrol car, a passenger, Terry Cordell of Camdenton got out of the car and then into an altercation with a trooper. While this was going on, Woodall got out of the patrol car and back into her’s and allegedly drove away. She was arrested a short time later by a Camden County sheriff’s deputy and faces several charges including resisting arrest, D.W.I., and speeding. Cordell was also arrested for felony resisting lawful detention.
