Three people are behind bars after a two year old tests positive for methamphetamine. Kelsey West of Gravois Mills was scheduled to take her two year old to receive a hair follicle test through Child Services earlier in the month and, when she didn’t show up, Morgan County Deputies received a tip she was at a home near Laurie on Green Hills Road on November 10th. They went to the residence and, while there, they found marijuana in the same bed the child was sleeping in at the time, as well as methamphetamine in the living room. After placing the child with Child Services, deputies were advised of the positive drug test on Tuesday. West, along with Jimmy Lang Jr. of Gravois Mills, and Jennifer Mullies of Richland were all charged with multiple drug violations, as well as Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
