The bill commonly referred to as “the Uber Bill” is set to be signed by Governor Eric Greitens this morning. The bill sets specific regulations on who can drive for the company. It eliminates those convicted of DWI, sexual offenses, and other violations they deem unsafe for such a job. It also requires those drivers to come to a specific agreement with an airport before working in the area and it allows for the airports to charge a certain fee. Governor Greitens will be signing the bill into law at St. Charles Community College at 11 o’clock this morning.
