A bill regarding ride-hailing companies is on its way to Governor Eric Greitens’ desk. The bill, commonly referred to as the Uber Bill, sets specific regulations on who can drive for the company. It eliminates those convicted of DWI, sexual offenses, and other violations they deem unsafe for such a job. It also requires those drivers to come to a specific agreement with an airport before working in the area and it allows for the airports to charge a certain fee. Governor Greitens has spoke favorably about the bill and is expected to sign it very soon.
