The wreckage of an ultra-light airplane that crashed into Lake of the Ozarks earlier this month is now out of the water.

Officials with Atlantis Dive and Dock Salvage pulling the wreck from the 3 ½ mile mark of the Little Niangua Arm.

The Highway Patrol’s water division says that the pilot had engine troubles and had to ditch the plane into the water.

That pilot suffered minor injuries and was able to swim to shore.
