Missouri’s unemployment rate remains essentially unchanged in the month of April. According to the Department of Economic Development, last month’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 3.3%. Non-farm payroll increased by 11,800 jobs during the month. Just over 101,700 members of the roughly 3-million person workforce are unemployed. The largest sector for job growth over the year has been health care & social assistance, up by 9,900 jobs.
