Drugs, paraphernalia, weapons and thousands of dollars are seized and three people taken into custody after a traffic stop in Camden County and a search warrant executed in Benton County. Courthouse records indicate that the sequence of events started late Thursday afternoon when authorities were searching the Climax Springs area for Scott Patrick Lewis…wanted for questioning regarding stolen firearms from burglaries in Camden and Benton counties. The suspect vehicle was located and Lewis identified as the driver and a convicted felon out of state…he consented to a search of the car which resulted in several items being seized. A subsequent search warrant was executed on Lewis’s residence in Benton County resulting in six more firearms, ammunition, a surveillance system, more methamphetamine and paraphernalia being discovered and seized. Lewis is charged with a class-A felony for drug trafficking and four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm…his bond was set at $250-thousand. Two passengers in the vehicle were identified as Robert Ross and Rebecca Blair…Ross had both been wanted for failing to appear on a felony drug charge in Morgan County while Blair had been wanted for failing to appear on a felony drug charge in Camden County and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge in Benton County. Ross and Blair are being held on no bond.
