A Miller County man is facing seven years to life in prison for robbing the First State Bank of Iberia earlier this year. 49-year-old David Krzysik of Waynesville pleaded guilty yesterday in federal court. Krzysik made off with almost $3,600 in the March 15th stickup, and half an hour later, tried to rob the Central Trust Bank in Iberia. But the bank employees saw him coming – wearing a wig and fake beard – and locked the doors. Krzysik was apprehended after wrecking his getaway car during a high-speed chase. Sentencing will be scheduled after a presentence investigation by the United States Probation Office.
