A new judge has been assigned to oversee the trial of the Stover man charged with December’s double-homicide in Morgan County. 25-year-old Ronald Blowers request for a change of judge was granted at a motions hearing today in Versailles. The case has been assigned to Judge Kenneth Hayden. Blowers also filed a motion for a change of venue. Blowers is charged with two counts of second degree murder, armed criminal action and burglary in connection with the beating deaths of Wayne and Mae Wells in their Ivy Bend home. Blowers is being held on $1 million bail in the Morgan County jail.
