A fuel spill at Lake of the Ozarks that affected Salt Hollow Cove over the weekend has since dissipated. Osage Beach Fire responded to the initial call.
Chief Jeff Dorhauer says the Water Patrol also responded and notified DNR. Dorhauer says the exact source may not be able to be determined. Meanwhile, another spill handled by Lake Ozark Fire near Marine Max was also relatively small. KRMS is told that one was a result of a broken safety valve and was contained to a small area.
