The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is asking for your help to meet blood supply needs. Currently, all “negative” blood types are in short supply. That includes less than a one-day supply of O-negative and B-negative, as well as less than a two-day supply of of A-negative blood. There are a pair of blood drives coming up if you’d like to donate. The first will be held Thursday, September 14th from 2:30-5:30 at Columbia College in Osage Beach. The second is the next day – Friday, September 15th from 1-5pm at Niangua High School. The CBCO is the sole local provider of blood for patients at 40 area hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas, and southeast Kansas.
