The US Department of Agriculture is issuing a recall for chicken sold in Wal-mart stores. Advance Pierre Foods of Enid, Oklahoma is recalling about 12 hundred pounds of chicken fried chicken breasts because they may contain small metal pieces. The products are 22 point 75 ounces packages of Fast Classics Chicken Fried Chicken breasts and cases containing six of these packages.
The recalled product bears the establishment number “P-2260Y” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and a “best by” date of Jan. 22, 2014, the lot number 1522960202, and a UPC number 75901-33100. The products were distributed in Missouri, and also in Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The USDA and the company have received no reports of injury associated with consumption of these products.
