Crews started tearing down the old bleachers in the Versailles High School gymnasium, yesterday. A local donor gave the Morgan County School District one hundred thousand dollars toward the purchase and installation of new bleachers. They will open and close with electrical operation and be more roomy and in school colors. They will also comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, with handicapped seating and access. Morgan County School Board members accepted a bid from Kansas firm, Heartland Seating, for the work, which should be complete by the end of October.
