Versailles Man Arrested For Actually Drinking While Driving

A Versailles man is facing DWI charges after police find him actually drinking and driving.

According to the Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Matthew Sheppard is facing charges of DWI, having no insurance and consumption of an alcoholic beverage while driving.

Sheppard wasn’t the only one arrested over the weekend for DWI. There were 3 others including 23-year-old Emily Northrip of Brumley.

There was also one arrest for Drugs and one for a man with a warrant after failing to appear in Miller county court.
