Next month’s Lake of the Ozarks Air Show will be giving military veterans free rides in a B-25 aircraft. More than 60 Lake area vets have applied for rides … on the ten available flights:
Camdenton Chamber of Commerrce Executive Director Trish Creach says priority is being given to World War II and Korean vets, and those who did not participate in the B-25 rides last year. A drawing will be held Wednesday afternoon to determine who gets to go up:
The 2012 Lake of the Ozarks Air Show takes place Saturday, September 22nd at Camdenton Municipal Airport. There will also be B-25 rides – for sale – on Sunday, Sept. 23rd.
