A U.S. Marine from Maries County has been found dead at Camp Pendleton in California after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. Reports indicate 19 year old Lance Corporal Dominic Schraft of Vienna was found dead at the marksmanship training range Monday morning. Schraft joined the Marines in August of 2014 and served as a field operator. The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
