Voluntary Boil Water Order for Lake Region Water and Sewer in Porto Cima

Officials at the Lake region water and sewer company have issued a voluntary boil water advisory for The Club at Porto Cima and customers living east of the club including LaRiva Estates, Private Quarters, Villa LaCresta and customers along Resplander way. According to the report, the water main was damaged by a contractor working in the area. If you live in the effected area, they recommend you boil your water vigorously for three minutes prior to use for drinking, diluting fruit juices and all food preparation as well as brushing teeth. You should also not use the ice cubes from your automatic ice maker. Water can be used for bathing without the need to boil. Customers will notice some discoloration of the water or air in their lines as the water is flushed through the system.
