Missouri became the 31st state in the country to adopt an effective medical marijuana law. Amendment two passed 65% to 34%. Two other options for medical marijuana were both defeated. Voters also approved a measure changing the way the state handles redistricting and places other restrictions on elected officials. The amendment known as “Clean Missouri” received support of 61% of the voters. Missouri voters also approved an increase in the minimum wage and defeated a proposal to raise the fuel tax to provide additional funds for law enforcement and road repairs.
