Two PWC accidents over the weekend send people to Lake Regional Hospital. 20-year old Brittany Dawson of Florissant was driving a 2006 Kawasaki PWC west at the 2 Mile Mark of the Glaize Arm yesterday about 12:30 in the afternoon. The 20-year old hit a large wave and fell off the side of the PWC, suffering moderate injuries.
On Saturday at 10:30 in the morning, 36 year old Jeffrey Thornesberry of Sullivan was riding a Yamaha PWC at the 43 Mile Mark when he hit a large wake. Thornsberry hit the handlebars with his wrist and chest, suffering serious injuries.
