Wal-Mart & Menards Changing Shopping Experience Due To COVID 19

Two Lake area stores are making big changes in the wake of COVID 19.

Officials says all area Wal-Mart will be limiting the number of people that can be in the store to no more than five customers per 1,000 square feet.

Once a store reaches its capacity, customers will be admitted inside on a “1-out-1-in” basis, meaning they’ll have to wait outside in a line before entering.

The flow inside is also changing, as many isles will become one way and those shopping will be encouraged to “move along” and not browse.

Additional Menards says they will no longer allow children under the age of 16 or pets to enter the store.
