Wal-Mart Power Failure Leads To Store Evacuation

The power is back on at Wal-Mart in Osage Beach after a transformer fails during the middle of the day on Thursday.

According to posts on social media, customers were forced to leave the store after the power failed, causing worry and panic in the parking lot.

Officials with the company say it is store protocol to evacuate customers when the power is out for more than 30 minutes.

No one was hurting during the evacuation.
