The Warsaw Board Of Aldermen were pretty busy this past week as the city prepares for the upcoming Jubilee days. At their meeting, board members heard from Chuck Allcorn, who is helping to put together this year’s event. Allcorn told the board that this year they will have a Pirate Ship among all the other normal activities including the fair style carnival rides. He is expecting this year’s event to be the biggest one yet. This will be the 49th annual Jubilee days event that the city has held at the riverfront. In other business, the board rescinded a bid award for tree cutting due to a technical error and accepted a request to change the name of the Ozarks Lakes Greenway to be called the Ozarks Lakes Greenway Linear Parkway for grant purposes.
