At the most recent meeting of the Warsaw board of aldermen, several items under the agenda were approved. One of the most important items included approving the continuing contracts with the chamber of commerce at $9,000 dollars & the county development corporation for $2,127, both for tourism services, the historical society for $2,500 and the Osage Lakes greenway cooperation for $2,500 for their trail system developments. The board also proposed a new ordinance to provide enhanced benefits for covered employees, which passed. Finally the city agreed to approve a $18,611 contract with the Burns & McDonnell firm for appraisal to acquire the Brian Bell hanger along with a $20,153 agreement with CFS for works on the city’s transportation improvement plans.
