The Warsaw R-IX Board of Education met recently to discuss the issue of Amendment 3 among other items. Members of the board where upset that it would take away local control of the school. The board unanimously voted to publicly oppose Amendment 3. They also discussed accepting bids for new security entrances at each building which will cost $87,000 and will be covered by the Capital Projects Fund. The district also approved working with the WallStreet Insurance group for the 2014-2015 school year.
