Watch Out For Bicycles

While most of the emphasis this weekend is being put on travel or boating, let us not forget that May Is Bicycle Safety Month. And right now is a prime-time for accidents. Data for 2011 reveals that when it comes to crashes involving motor vehicles and bicycles, 79% of them occurred from April till October. One person was killed last year and 574 were injured. That translated to one person being killed or injured in a bicycle traffic crash every 15.2 hours for 2011 here in Missouri.
