Despite reports of flooding on the Missouri River, the Osage, below Bagnell Dam has been largely unaffected, even though the US Army Corps of Engineers has been passing excess water through the generators at Bagnell and Truman Dam for weeks.
If the river stage at Jefferson City reaches 29 feet or higher, backwater will start moving up the Osage River. Truman Lake’s current elevation is 706.63. That’s down from last week. Normal is 706. Lake of the Ozarks is at 658.30. That’s up from last week. Some nasty weather today, but then it’s forecast to be dry through Sunday.
