Water Patrol Announces Fall Buoy Applications

Residents wishing to apply for buoy permits for the upcoming season will have to wait until later in year.

The deadline to apply has already passed, but you can fill out a form from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Water Patrol Division, to be ready for when the permit process reopens.

Captain Matt Walz says the deadline for that application process will be September 25^th, with permits being reviewed and issued in November.

Walz also indicated that Stacey Mosher, longtime member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Water Patrol at the Lake of the Ozarks is moving on….

He says Mosher will stay with the patrol, but under a different realm of employment.

She has been a part of the water division at the lake for 20 years.
