Water Patrol Offering Tips For Getting Boating Season Underway Safely

Boat traffic will be increasing soon as the season starts to get underway.

But before you head out, officials say you should check that you have proper supplies and that everything is in working order….

So far this year there have been 11 water-related incidents statewide, with three fatalities. Walz says none of the victims were wearing a safety device.
