Each of the Highway Patrol troops in the state has experienced at least one water-related death so far this year. Troop D, which includes Table Rock Lake, has the most, with 23. Troop E is second with 10…that jurisdiction includes the Black River, the Mississippi, the St. Francis River, and Wappapello Lake. Troop F, which includes the Lake of the Ozarks, has reported eight water-related deaths this year. All told, 58 people have died on Missouri’s waterways in 2018.
