If you’re planning to attend today’s Water Safety Seminar, you’ll need to change your plans.

With the recent uptick in COVID cases, the Water Safety Council has decided to cancel today’s event.

The committee indicated that nearly 80 people, along with 10 guest speakers, were expected to attend the event at the Lodge at Port Arrowhead.

They are now looking into rescheduling the event for a later date.

PRESS RELEASE:

With the recent uptick in Covid testing positives, the Water Safety Council has decided to cancel this Saturday’s Water Safety Seminar.
The committee was concerned about the guests, speakers and vendors and the potential of more exposures…with nearly 80 expected guests pre-registered.
We thank the Lodge at Port Arrowhead for their donation of the convention center and aid in presenting the event…and the committee is going to re-group for a later date or in 2021.
We thank our 10 speakers that were scheduled to present in the half day event.
