Waynesville Anti Bullying Meetings

The Waynesville R-VI School District’s taking special steps to ensure a safe school environment by providing training for teachers and parents, training that is designed to help everyone to deal with and to respond to bullying in a prompt and positive manner. That training will be done by McGrath Training Systems, a nationally recognized leader in educational training. A district spokesperson says bullying’s become a bigger concern with changes in technology, and particularly the internet. The district’s planned multiple information sessions for parents, on the 15th at Wood Elementary, and on the 16th at Freedom Elementary Both sessions are 6:30 to 8:30p.m.
