Weather Officials To Investigate Storm Damage In Dixon

The Lake area wasn’t the only region to see damage in Saturday’s storms.

Nearby Dixon in Pulaski County saw damage to numerous mobile homes.

Waynesville Fire Chief Doug Yurecko says they spent the evening checking on resident’s homes in the area of Happy and Harvey Drive near HWY 28, going door to door in case anyone needed to be rescued.

The area had been under a Tornado warning when the damage occurred.

Crews from the National Weather Service are investigating to determine if it was a Tornado or Straight-Line Winds that caused the damage.
