The final weekend of winter will have a feel of springtime here in the lake area with a plethora of activities scheduled around the big pond. Thousands are expected to descend upon the tri-county area for several activities which have become tradition for Saint Patrick’s Day, especially with the big day falling on a weekend. Among just some of the many activities will be the blessing of the fleet and parade on the water along with the short bus shuffle on the west side, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade along Bagnell Dam Boulevard, and of course other activities that normally take place during the evening and throughout the nighttime hours. 93.5 Rocks the Lake will also be busy Saturday with live remotes from 1-3pm at the Dogpatch store for the parade, from 3-4pm at Luby’s Plaza during the I-berries concert, and from 5-7pm at the Kilt and Clover in Osage Beach. And by the way, the spring season will, officially, arrive next Tuesday, the 20th.
